The M/V Skorpios III sets sail every Saturday evening from Puerto Natales, located 247 km to the north of Punta Arenas, on a five day cruise through the channels and fjords that border the Southern Ice Field. The glaciers of this field in Chilean Patagonia form the third largest reserve of fresh water on the planet and give birth to the biggest and most spectacular glaciers in the southern hemisphere.

There are two options to reach the region of Magallanes: flying to Punta Arenas or coming overland from Argentina. From this city, passengers must be transferred to the Skorpios Terminal in Puerto Natales. The maritime route commences through the Kirke Narrows, moving towards the north through the Morla Vicuña, Unión Inlet, Collingwood, Sarmiento, Concepción and Wide channels, to anchor in a beautiful area known as the Eyre Inlet.

On board the M/V Skorpios III, personnel with ample experience in gastronomy, and faithful to the traditional hospitality of the Kochifas family, delight the passengers with the best gastronomy of the Patagonia, carefully selecting the most exclusive meat products, horticulture products hortifrutícolas, and sea foods such as spider crabs, oysters and mussels, all prepared according to the culinary tradition of the Skorpios. Besides this the passengers can enjoy the best meats of the area, such as magallian lamb, all accompanied with
a vast variety of fine Chilean wines that have been exclusively selected for the route, as well as an Open Bar service, without additional cost.

The M/V Skorpios III offers all of that which the passengers require for a well-deserved rest. There are ample decks, salons and dining rooms that have a capacity of up to 130 passengers. A system of simultaneous English translation for chats with the passengers, as well as a professional digital recording system and exhibition of videos of the internal channels. The Zeus Bar (smoking room), with an English decor and the Apolo Salon (non-smoking), decorated in a classical style, provide a warm ambient to share with your traveling companions, play cards or simply read.

The Cruise Ship has been conceived under the “Super Class” concept; it has 49 cabins with a capacity of up to 125 passengers, possesses the most advanced telecommunications technology and satellite navigation, as well as a modern water treatment plant. Its elegant and spacious acclimatized cabins, vested in fine native woods, include Master Suites, Junior Suites, Double Bed Suites, Double A, Double B and Single Suites.
